Bagley Trumbull
The Bagley Trumbull Development sits in Corktown, and seeks to catalyze a pivotal intersection in Detroit's oldest neighborhood. The development holds two historic buildings, and the future construction of two new mixed-use structures.
The refined larger building facing Trumbull Ave. is designed to house up to three separate retail tenants on the first floor and large luxury residence with a roof deck and conservatory above. Large spans of folding glass walls provide a special connection between the living spaces and activity in the neighborhood, while the private areas of the home are shielded in wood clad masses.
The Bagley building squeezes between the adjacent buildings, peeking out onto the intersection with the canted front glass wall of it’s second floor residence. Like a younger sibling, it resembles the Trumbull building, but with quirky, expressive features.
Renovations to the existing historic buildings were completed in 2016, and are now fully occupied with new tenants that have brought new life to this vibrant intersection.
