The Woodward

woodward-10.jpg

The proposed  renovation for The Woodward seeks to reflect the modern values of its owner and future tenants, among the historic district in which it is sited. Although the building has only 15' of frontage along Old Woodward, a prominent vertical massing draws attention from the main thoroughfares to the East. Modern appropriations of traditional materials, such as stone, granite, and glass reveal contemporary construction methods while conforming to historic ordinances.
